Vertical Jump = 2 footed jump, from a standing start.  There is not step into the jump, just a lowering into squat position before jumping up to reach as high as possible with both hands.  This test is more related to raw athletic ability and power production.

10 yd Sprint = from a track start, sprinting out 10 yards as quickly as possible.  Electrical timers are used for this test.  This test evaluates initial sprinting speed (first step speed) from a dead start.  10 yards is the most common distance covered before a change of direction (and therefore speed) is required.

Pro Agility = Start in a squatted position, facing forward, turn sprint 5 yards, touch the line with your right hand; turn sprint 10 yards, touch the line with your left hand; turn and sprint through your original start line (5 yards).  This test is also timed with electrical timers.  This test measures starting, stopping, and direction changing quickness.
